Creating the shape as lined shape in the pattern project

Open the Shapes tool window:

    In the Home ribbon under Tool Windows, select the Shapes tool window.
  1. In the tool window, the existing shapes of the pattern project are displayed.

    Place the cursor in the tool window and open the context menu with the RMB.

    Select Create New Shape of Size M... in the context menu.
  3. The New Lined Shape dialog box will appear.

Input Format

Stitch

Entry in the table of the lined shape

  • Height by stitches (stitch rows)
  • Width by stitches (wales)

: The stepping is converted based on the specification of the steps.

Steps

Entry in the table of the lined shape

  • Height of step by stitches (stitch rows)
  • Width of step by stitches (wales)

Hand-Knitting (Courses)

Entry in the table of the lined shape

  • Height by courses (1 course corresponds 2 stitch rows)
  • Width by stitches (wales)

No images will be used

  1. The new lined shape (basic shape) is graphically displayed in the Shapes tab and in a new document window New shape xx [size x] as rectangle.
  2. Default attributes are used for the shape edges of the lined shape.
