Shape Generation with the Help of Basic Shapes
If you want to elaborate a design for shaped knitted products, you need to create a shape. For a fast creation of a shape we recommend working with dimensioning shapes.

New Dimensioned Shape Project. - The New Dimensioned Shape dialog box appears:

- Select the basic shape:
Set-in Sleeve with Shoulder Gore
Set-in Sleeve with French Shoulder
Raglan
Saddle Shoulder

Trousers
Private, 3 rectangular basic shapes - 3
- Define essential details of your style, as for example:
Shoulder
Shoulder with marking or shoulder gore
Neckline and Opening
Crew neck, Crew neck as cardigan, V-neck, V-neck as cardigan, Polo collar, Turtle neck
Seam Position of Collar
Center in back, Center in front, Left shoulder, Right shoulder
Shaped Waist
Without widening or narrowing, shaped waist, only widening or narrowing
Dimensioning of the Armhole
Vertical until shoulder start, Diagonal until shoulder start, Diagonal until body center, Vertical until body center
Dimensioning of the Sleeve Length
Until the shoulder start, Until the shoulder end, Until the body center, Inner sleeve length - 4
- Determine essential pattern parameters.
Stitch Density

- Confirm the settings with OK.
- A new dimensioned shape project is opened.
