Application Example:

When knitting tuck with float without holding-deep cam, the yarn can be pushed upward during needle raising.
With the following stitch formation the yarn lies as float in the fabric then.

Solution:
System conversion for holding-deep via tuck function

Result:

The cam holds the float under the raising needles and the tuck lying in the needle is not pushed upward by the needles raising for stitch formation.

  • (1) Holding-deep curve at rear
    (starts about two needles before the knitting curve)
  • (2) raising to knit in front

Programming with CREATE PLUS:

  1. The cam for Holding-deep by tuck function is installed at the machine.

    Create a private machine in the Machine Attributes tab of the Configuration tool window.

    Activate Holding-deep by Tuck Function at System Conversion in the System Functions tab for the corresponding systems at front and rear.
  3. Tuck needle action is no longer allowed by this systems.
  4. The Tuck system function will be disabled accordingly.
