Application Examples:

Newly inserted weft yarns will not be held securely below the needle crossing (crossing point of the supporting surfaces of opposite needles), as they are not enclosed by the fabric. Raising the needles earlier by the transferring curve allows to "lock" the weft yarn in the needle bed gap until the following stitch row is knitted.

System Function

Blue line:

  • Shows the needle curve with DJ.
  • The needle is already risen in front of the stitch cam.
  • Holding deep is extended by the width of the stitch cam.

Red line:

  • Shows the needle curve with Holding-deep the fabric by transfer function and with the cam box conversion designed for it.

Programming with CREATE PLUS:

  1. The cam Divided Stitch Cam is mounted on the machine. For example at system S2

    Call up the Machine Attributes tab in the Configuration tool window.

    Click the converted knitting system (e.g. S2) at the Divided Stitch Cam of the System Functions section.
    You can create your machine under My Machines and make the settings there.

    If necessary, activate the corresponding selection for further systems.
  1. Transfer from Needle Bed will automatically be disabled for this systems.

    Draw the DJ pattern with weft yarn.

    Enter Knitting via Split Curve on Both Needle Beds into the System Function control column.

    Allocate knitting system (S2 e.g.) in the corresponding control column.

Gauge-dependent restriction of the stitch lengths:

Only the way down from channel of the divided stitch cam to the loop sinking edge can be used for the stitch length.
