In the Multi-Piece Knitting section, you have to the following options:

Multi-Piece Knitting
Duplicate a pattern and position both next to each other.

Multiple Fabric Pieces within Design View
Position two different shapes on the pattern. Both fabric pieces will be positioned side by side.
- Define the positioning of the patterns.
