Doubling
The start is knitted with a specified excess width and then it is narrowed to the pattern width through multi-step narrowing.

Opens the Knit Explorer.

Select the module for multi-step narrowing.

Local

Select the path from the Knit Explorer directly.

Click on the arrow to show the folder and to select them.

Select module for multi-step narrowing.

Look

Select the look.
underneath or above.

Excess Width at the Left

Enter excess width for the left side.

Excess Width at the Right

Enter excess width for the right side.

Same Excess Width at the Left and Right

Same excess width for both sides.

When the selection is activated, then Excess Width at the Right will be greyed out.

For the "1x1 Technique" knitting mode, the pattern width (wales) will get doubled by the same quantity of empty needles.

Adjust Positions of Doubling Markings

Cover Width

Select cover width.

Distance to Center
Automatically

The distance of the first narrowing marking to the center of the fabric is defined proportionally.

Distance to Center
Fix

Enter the distance of the first narrowing marking to the center of the fabric.

Distance among each other
Automatically

The distance among the narrowing markings is defined proportionally.

Distance among each other
Fix

Enter the distance among the narrowing markings.

Move the positions of narrowing markings in relation to the start:

Enter the settings for the position of the narrowing markings.

Do Not Move

The positions of narrowing markings will not be moved.

Move Transfer to Jersey Stitch

Places the narrowing markings only on the jersey stitches of the start.

Move Transfer to Reverse Stitch

Places the narrowing markings only on the reverse jersey stitches of the start.
