Line Properties

Home tab -> Properties group -> Line Properties

If you have opened a shape in the pattern project, you can find the Line Properties tool window under the Shape Editing tab -> Properties group.

Click on the red-framed areas of the image to access the description directly.

Make the following settings in the Line Properties tool window for a line.

Stepping Kind

Shows the profile of the stepping kind.

By clicking on it a tool window opens where the following settings can be made.

Only available with lined shape Stitch.
Not present with lined shape Steps and Hand-Knitting (Courses).

Function

Select function for the line.

The selected function is displayed underneath to make settings.

Fading-out

Make settings for the fade-out edges of the line.

Stitch Length

Make settings for the stitch length at the shape edge of the line.

Markings

Make settings for markings at the startpoint or endpoint of the line.
