Image File Settings

In the Ajustes de archivo de imagen dialog box you make the following settings for the export of the fabric view:

Origen de imagen

Origen

Select image source

  • Muestra completa
    Exports a complete fabric piece.
  • Sector seleccionado
Exports only the desired, selected section of a pattern.
This function is helpful in case cycles are to be used in a 3D apparel software.
  • Sección de imagen actual
Exports only the area that currently appears in the document window of the fabric view.

Tamaño de imagen

Tamaño

Select size specification format

DPI or Píxeles

DPI

Enter DPI value

Altura en píxeles

Enter height in pixels

Anchura en píxeles

Enter width in pixels

Conservar relación de aspecto

The size ratio of the pattern is maintained

Agujas

Width of the image file in needles

Pasadas

Height of the image file in rows

Anchura

Width of the image file in cm

The specification corresponds to the set stitch density

Altura

Height of the image file in cm

The specification corresponds to the set stitch density

Densidad de las mallas

Specification, in the Propiedades de la muestra selected stitch density

Configuraciones de archivo

Nombre de archivo

Display of the pattern name

Formato de imagen

Select image format

PNG
JPEG or
TIFF

When selecting PNG:

Canal alfa PNG

PNG with or without transparency
Export the fabric view for further processing to a 3D apparel software always as PNG with enabled transparency (Canal alfa PNG).

Compresión

Las imágenes son reducidas a 256 colores. La calidad de las imágenes puede ser influenciado negativamente. Sin embargo, el tamaño de archivo es reducido considerablemente.

When selecting JPEG:

Calidad JPEG

JPEG with specification of the quality
The fabric view as JPG is always exported with a black background.

Independently from the selection of the image format:

Exportar como archivo U3M

Export as U3M file

U3M is a standardized format for 3D visualization.
This includes physical properties data and texture maps, all combined into one ZIP file (U3MA).

Exportar como U3M (archivo)

Exports the files compressed in a U3MA zip file.

Exportaciones

So-called Maps are used for the 3D visualization and 3D simulation to assign two-dimensional images to the three-dimensional surfaces of the models.
The different types of Maps give a more detailed and realistic appearance to the computer generated 3D models.

Base map

Export Base Map

Base Map is the basic texture with the visible colors.

Alpha Map

Export Alpha Map

An alpha Map contains information about transparent areas of a texture.
In a 3D software it is required to define the transparent space.

Normal Map

Export Normal Map

The Normal Map, also called Bump Map, specifies the angle, with which virtual light is reflected over a digital surface.

With it the appearance of the texture depth is simulated.

The Normal Map is a necessary part of digital textures in a 3D software.

Displacement Map

Export Displacement Map

A Displacement Map, also called Height Map, can artificially generate an additional height of a digital texture.

This way, a more realistic appearance of three-dimensional surface structure results within a 3D model.

Cara anterior

Export the corresponding selection as the front side

Revés

Export the corresponding selection as the rear side
