Ways to Create Shapes by CREATE PLUS

Creating shapes with grading by the input format

  • Centimeter [cm]

: Will be converted according to the stitch ratio and displayed by stitches.

  • Enregistrer sous...
    as *.sgsf

- or –

  • Create it directly in the pattern project and save it as *.spf

Creating a new shape by the input format:

  • Maille
  • Steps
  • Tricot main (tours)
  • Enregistrer sous...
    as *.slsf

- or –

  • Create it directly in the pattern project and save it as *.spf

: You can make default settings for narrowing, widening, and so on in the start window under Options for Dimensioned Shapes and for Lined Shapes.

The default settings for lined shapes are shown in the Configuration dialog box and are generally valid for all shapes.

Importer une image

  • Image File Types: *.bmp/ *.jpg/ *.jpeg/ *.jpe/ *.jfif/ *.gif/ *.tiff/ .*tif/ *:png
  • STOLL Image Import Type: *.sii

: Shape must be edited manually, meaning you have to draw in all shape attributes manually or to insert them via the context menu Compléter les icônes de forme manquants.

: The shape is positioned pending on the design pattern.

Graphic Method

You create the shape manually in the design pattern by

  • Extérieur de la forme
  • Within Shape :
    • Couleur de dessin
    • Needle Actions
  • Icônes de forme

: Shape is part of the pattern and cannot be saved as separate shape file.

Ways to Import Shapes from Other Programs

M1plus

You can import shapes created on M1plus only in the *.shp format in to CREATE PLUS.

GKS

You can open shapes created on GKS *.gks as Coupe à dimension in CREATE PLUS.

CREATE PLUS

  • Coupe à dimension saved as *.sgsf :
    Import of the *.sgsf file, converting the dimensioned shapes and, if desired, saving them as *.slsf.
    : Automatically Saving as Projet de dessin *spf.
  • Coupe de ligne saved as *.slsf:
    You can open the *.slsf file as Coupe à dimension and save it as *.sgsf then.

DXF

You can open shapes saved as *dxf in the CREATE PLUS as Dimensioned Shape.
