Possibilities of Editing in the Image Import Dialog Box

Editing the image: Size, quantity of colors and type of reduction

    At Target Size: enter the desired image size.

    Under Nombre de couleurs dans la cible : enter the desired quantity of colors for the result (target).

    Select the type of reduction:
  • Réduction par défaut
  • Mélanger les couleurs (Dithering)

    Apply the settings with the Actualiser button.
  1. The result is displayed as target on the right side in the dialog box.

Editing the image: Allocate original color to different target color step by step

    In the table search and select the desired original color.
    - or -
    Click on a pixel in the 'original' image.
  1. The original color is displayed as selected in the table.

    In the table of the Destination column over the selection menu in the column, select the desired target color.
  2. The original color is allocated to the selected target color and displayed in the target.

    If necessary, repeat this process multiple times.

Editing the image: Allocate a different target color to original colors

    In the (7) table with Ctrl + LMB, select the desired original colors individually.
    - or -
    With Shift + LMB select several entries.
    - or -
    Click on a target color in the display field ((6)) to select all the corresponding original colors.
  1. The selection is displayed in the table.

    Then select the desired target color below the table under Destination using the selection list.
  1. All the selected original colors are converted into target colors and displayed in the Destination image.

    In the table search and select the desired original color.
    - or -
    Click on a pixel in the 'original' image.
  1. The original color is displayed as selected in the table.

    In the table of the Caractéristique column over the selection menu of the column, select the desired property.
  1. The selected property is allocated to the original color and displayed in the target.

    If necessary, repeat this process multiple times.
