Creating and comparing colorways

You can easily create colorways, also known as colorways, via the Combinazioni colori tool.

Creating colorways:

  1. A design project is open.

    Open the Combinazioni colori tool window.
  1. The Combinazioni colori tool window appears.
    Initially, you will only see the preview of the current colors of your pattern.

    Define different colored yarns for the yarn scheme, which are to be combined automatically by the shuffle mode.
    Open the Explorer di filati and drag the desired colored yarns in the Schema dei filati area.


    NOTA! Save as many colored yarns in the yarn schema as will be used in the pattern to be able to create Shuffle Modes.
  2. In the Assegnazioni casuali area appear all colorways that are possible.

    You can establish additional properties for the Shuffle Mode:
    Utilizzabile come colore di fondo:
    The respective colored yarn is also used as basic color.
    Utilizzabile come colore addizionale:
    The respective colored yarn is simultaneously also used as contrast color as well.
  1. In the Assegnazioni casuali there are also mentioned different suggestions for colorways.

Apply, evaluate and compare different colorways:

    Click on Applicato apply a Shuffle Mode as colorway.
  1. This colorway is listed under Combinazioni colori.

    Click on 1-5 stars to evaluate the applied colorways.

    Click on Confronta... to compare all the selected colorways with each other.
  2. The Confronta combinazione colori dialog appears with an overview over the colorways.


If you prefer one colorway and you want to export it:

  1. Assign the corresponding yarns to the fabric preview.
  2. Use the export function of the fabric preview.
