Multi-piece knitting on machines with and without comb

Rules for two-piece knitting with comb:

For the start Utilizza pettine (nell'intero progetto) is to be selected.
Do not use width cycles within the pattern
Consider the total width and the distance between the fabrics
The pattern must have a start

Create two piece pattern:

1: Generate new pattern.
- or -
Load the existing pattern as basic pattern.

2: In the tool window Configurazione select the tab Zone di lavoro .

3: Select Lavorazione di più teli and enter the distance to the fabric piece center or the distance of the empty space.
Multi-piece Knitting (Knitting Areas Tab)

4: The Elaborazione tecnica generates data for both fabric pieces automatically.

You can set the yarn carrier allocation in the Vista guidafili by yourself. Otherwise they are positioned and inserted automatically.

Yarn carriers for the left fabric piece on the left side of the machine
Yarn carriers for the right fabric piece on the right-hand side of the machine.
Exception:
The yarn carrier for the comb thread is used for both pieces.

Consider the total width and the distance between the fabrics
The pattern must have a start

Create two piece pattern:

1: Generate new pattern.
- or -
Load the existing pattern as basic pattern.

2: In the tool window Configurazione select the tab Zone di lavoro .

3: Enter the number of SEN areas and the distance between them in the SEN (nell'intero progetto) section.

4: The Elaborazione tecnica generates data for both fabric pieces automatically.

You can set the yarn carrier allocation for the SEN areas in the Vista guidafili by yourself. Otherwise they are positioned and inserted automatically.
