Possibilities:

Create a temporary pattern element (clipboard):

    Select the desired drawing tool for creating a selection.

    Create a selection via the pattern area in the Disegno design.

    Copy the selection as temporary pattern element to the clipboard with CTRL+C.
  1. The pattern element is assigned to the cursor for drawing.

    If necessary, delete the temporary pattern element at the cursor with ESC.

Generate pattern element and save locally in the project.
