Creating and comparing colorways

You can easily create colorways, also known as colorways, via the Esquemas de cores tool.

Creating colorways:

  1. A design project is open.

    Open the Esquemas de cores tool window.
  1. The Esquemas de cores tool window appears.
    Initially, you will only see the preview of the current colors of your pattern.

    Define different colored yarns for the yarn scheme, which are to be combined automatically by the shuffle mode.
    Open the Explorador de fio and drag the desired colored yarns in the Esquema do fio area.


    NOTA! Save as many colored yarns in the yarn schema as will be used in the pattern to be able to create Shuffle Modes.
  2. In the Atribuições casuais area appear all colorways that are possible.

    You can establish additional properties for the Shuffle Mode:
    Disponível como cor básica:
    The respective colored yarn is also used as basic color.
    Disponível como cor complementar:
    The respective colored yarn is simultaneously also used as contrast color as well.
  1. In the Atribuições casuais there are also mentioned different suggestions for colorways.

Apply, evaluate and compare different colorways:

    Click on Aceitarto apply a Shuffle Mode as colorway.
  1. This colorway is listed under Esquemas de cores.

    Click on 1-5 stars to evaluate the applied colorways.

    Click on Comparar... to compare all the selected colorways with each other.
  2. The Comparar esquema de cores dialog appears with an overview over the colorways.


If you prefer one colorway and you want to export it:

  1. Assign the corresponding yarns to the fabric preview.
  2. Use the export function of the fabric preview.
