Define Material

In this dialog box the yarn thickness of the thread can be entered for each yarn carrier determined with the Sintral Check. This is required for the Calculate Yarn Consumption function.
If a yarn thickness for the yarn carrier is present in the Define standard dialog box, then this is automatically applied in the dialog box.
The dialog box is opened with the Define Material Properties function in the Requirements menu and closed again with the OK button.

The dialog box cannot be called up without carrying out a Sintral Check.

The dialog box contains the following columns, starting from the left:

Column

Meaning

1

Display of the yarn carriers determined by the Sintral Check

2 up to 7

Input field for the yarn thickness in various units of measure.
Example for two threads with a thickness of Nm 44/2: Enter 2/44/2 into the Nm field.

If you close the dialog box with the OK button, then the settings are saved in a file (file ending sci) and also used later for this pattern or Sintral program.

The input fields are selected by clicking on them with the mouse or by navigating with arrow keys. A selected input field is marked with a black frame.
To change the existing value in a selected input field, click directly on the value with the mouse. An input cursor appears at the position clicked on.
If no input cursor is visible in the selected input field, then you can delete an existing value or overwrite it with a new value.
Following the entry the other units of measure of the line are no longer available. These are first available again when the existing value is deleted.
