Working with the racking correction (VCI)

I. Open the Racking correction tool (VCI) window and select and change an entry in the local knitting element:

The 横移修正（VCI） control column is displayed.

1: Open the Cable stitch 3x3 local knitting element with double-click.

2: Open the selection list in the 起头 ribbon at 工具窗口 and select Pattern Parameters .

Directly under 参数 click the Pattern Parameters symbol.

The Pattern Parameters tool window appears.

3: Select the 默认 tab.

4: Select the desired racking correction index in the column and enter it in the knitting element, in the control column of the Transfer technical rows.

Options in the toolbar

	Selecting the default value to enter in the control column
	Deleting an entry in the control column
	Show Pattern-related Values
	Hide Pattern-related Values

Column labels of the racking correction (VCI) tool window

Column	Display		Setting range
ID / IDv / ID^	Consecutive numbering and sorting of the entries
	Selecting the speed value to enter it in the control column
VCI	Index for the indirect allocation of the racking correction		VCIn n= 1-50
Color	Display of colors to enter in the control columns
	The column is displayed only in the User tab
		Lines (entries) newly added in the User tab
		Racking correction index from the Standard tab (Entries from the knitting elements of STOLL)
<> VK	Direction of the racking correction VKn>m Racking correction to the right VKn<m Racking correct to the left		n = A – Z < = to the left > = to the right
VK	Racking correction value		m = 0 -10, ? ? = undefined value (for setting at the MC) m = 0: No correction
VV	Racking speed		VV = n n = 1-32
V +/-	Overracking V+n The racking moves further by the value n and returns then immediately V-n Racking moves by the value n in the opposite direction and then in racking position		V+/- n n = 1-24

Column	Display
Description	Comment on the use of the entry.
*		Entry is not defined as favorite, meaning the entry is only within the 默认 table available.
*		Entry is defined as favorite, meaning the entry is available within the 用户 table or directly via the context menu of the control columns.
O		Value cannot be overwritten (Overwrite) by a value of another table.
O		Value can be overwritten (Overwrite) by a value of another table. (Standard)
		The entry will not be applied to the Setup data : All entries used in the pattern are applied by default to the Setup data.
		The entry will be applied to the Setup data. : With it, you can transfer data, even if not used in the pattern, into the Setup file.
G		All settings of the 默认 or 用户 table are STOLL defaults (STOLL Template). Changes in the table are only project-related! : The STOLL template is used for creating a new pattern project.
G		These settings of the 默认 or 用户 table are now User Standards (User-Template) The changes in the table will be saved in the user template for following projects. : The user template is used for creating a new pattern project.
