Pattern Elements Directory with Knitting Element Type: Pattern Element

I. Generate a temporary pattern element (clipboard):

  1. The motif is drawn in the 设计花型.

    Select the desired drawing tool for creating a selection.

    Create a selection via the pattern area in the 设计花型.

    Copy the selection as temporary pattern element to the clipboard with CTRL+C.
  1. The pattern element is assigned to the cursor for drawing.

    If necessary, delete the temporary pattern element at the cursor with ESC.
  1. The temporary pattern element was not saved.

II. Generate pattern element and save locally in the project.

  1. The motif is drawn in the 设计花型.

    Select the desired drawing tool for creating a selection.

    Create a selection via the pattern area in the 设计花型.

    Call up the 选择 / 创建花型元素... context menu.
  1. The local pattern element is displayed in the 花型元素 tool window.

    Select the pattern element for drawing.
  1. The pattern element is used in the 设计花型 and saved in the project.

III. Save a local pattern element in the Knit Explorer:

  1. The local pattern element is created.

    Select the pattern element.

    Call up the context menu and select 另存为 .

    Copy the selection as temporary pattern element to the clipboard with CTRL+C.

    Open the Explorer with 编织资源管理器.

    Select the desired directory.
    - or -
    Create a new directory.

    Call up 元素 -> 导入 in the selected directory.
    - or -
    Paste by CTRL+v into the directory.
  1. A copy of the pattern element marked with is available in the directory.
