Creating and comparing colorways

You can easily create colorways, also known as colorways, via the 配色方案 tool.

Creating colorways:

  1. A design project is open.

    Open the 配色方案 tool window.
  1. The 配色方案 tool window appears.
    Initially, you will only see the preview of the current colors of your pattern.

    Define different colored yarns for the yarn scheme, which are to be combined automatically by the shuffle mode.
    Open the 纱线管理器 and drag the desired colored yarns in the 纱线方案 area.


    注意！ Save as many colored yarns in the yarn schema as will be used in the pattern to be able to create Shuffle Modes.
  2. In the 随机模式 area appear all colorways that are possible.

    You can establish additional properties for the Shuffle Mode:
    可作为基本颜色使用:
    The respective colored yarn is also used as basic color.
    可作为对比色使用:
    The respective colored yarn is simultaneously also used as contrast color as well.
  1. In the 随机模式 there are also mentioned different suggestions for colorways.

Apply, evaluate and compare different colorways:

    Click on 应用to apply a Shuffle Mode as colorway.
  1. This colorway is listed under 配色方案.

    Click on 1-5 stars to evaluate the applied colorways.

    Click on 对比 to compare all the selected colorways with each other.
  2. The 比较配色方案 dialog appears with an overview over the colorways.


If you prefer one colorway and you want to export it:

  1. Assign the corresponding yarns to the fabric preview.
  2. Use the export function of the fabric preview.
