Shape Element Properties and Functions in Context Menu of Shape Elements

Procedure:

    1
    Select the desired shape element.
    2
    Call-up the context menu of the shape element.
    3
    Call up the desired menu item.
  1. The selected function will be executed.
  2. The Shape Element Propertiescontext menu opens the Shape Element Properties tool window.

Name

The name of the shape element is as desired

Shape Element Type

Characteristics of the shape element for processing it within the shape:

  • Neckline
    Outside Shape
  • Filled Neckline
    Within shape with allocation of narrowing modules
  • Gore
    Within shape for not knitting with the symbol
  • Hole
    Outside Shape
  • Dart
    Within shape with symbols for processing with narrowing / widening modules
  • Within Shape
    Allocation of knitting elements, pattern elements or an image

: The shape element type can be changed via the picklist.

Start of stepping calculation of height

Shape Element

The startpoint of stepping calculation based on the selected stepping kind is the startpoint of the shape element.

Basic Shape

The startpoint of stepping calculation based on the selected stepping kind is the startpoint of the basic shape (baseline).

Shape Element

In the shape element, starting at the reference point of the shape element (bottom left corner of the shape element) a grid is structured with the size of the knitting element.
Then, the knitting element is filled with the preset for border filling options.

Basic Shape

In the shape element, starting at the reference point of the basic shape (bottom left corner of the basic shape) a grid is structured with the size of the knitting element.
Then, the knitting element is filled with the preset for border filling options.

Distance X:/ Y

Horizontal and / or vertical shifting of the reference point in the shape element or in the basic shape.
