Variable Engaging Width +/- (Ua/b)

Plating with two yarn carriers

  • Following basic yarn in the plating yarn carrier type U+/- with Ua/b > 29 mm.
  • Leading plating yarn in the normal yarn carrier.

Normal 2 +/- (Ua/b)

Use normal yarn carriers type2.

  • For the combination with intarsia yarn carrier type 1 or type 2.
  • You can change the yarn carrier engaging width for plating.

Recommendation:
Useful for machines with single-sided clamping and cutting or if a yarn carrier in the pattern knits-in on one side and knits-out on the other.

Stop at:

Stop the yarn carriers at the Shape Edge or SEN Edge.

Engaging Value [mm]

When selecting the Variable Engaging Width +/- (Ua/b) or Normal 2 +/- (Ua/b) yarn carrier type, the engaging width for left and right can be entered.

At the Left (Ua)

Border Fixation

Select the module for the border fixation.

For machines with belt take-down, the border fixation is enabled by default.

Minimum Padding

Enter the quantity of rows after which the upright yarn is to be fixed.
Value range: 1-999
