Pattern Elements (Find)

Adds the current cursor attribute to the already defined search criteria.

This action affects all search criteria, not only pattern elements.

Select the attribute in the pattern that is to be searched and then click on this button, to rapidly define the search criteria.
If you open the Find and Replace dialog box, then the current cursor attributes are applied as search criteria if they are available.

Pattern Element Selection:

Select the pattern element.

All pattern elements of the pattern are available in the drop-down list box.

Height

Displays the height in stitches of the selected pattern element.

Width

Displays the width in stitches of the selected pattern element.

Search Criteria

Select the search criteria of the pattern element to be searched for.

Needle Action

Search for knitting elements, Jacquards or needle actions of the selected pattern element.

Color

Search for the color of the selected pattern element.

Stitch Length (NP)

Search for the stitch length of the selected pattern element.

Shape Symbols

Search for the shape symbols of the selected pattern element.

Do Not Sink

Search for symbols for not sinking of the selected pattern element.

Paste the pattern element from the clipboard into the search criteria.

Create a temporary pattern element from the selection and insert in the search criteria.
The pattern element will not be saved to the Pattern Elements tool window.

If you have created a temporary pattern element from a selection and applied the search criteria, then in the Pattern Element Selection: appears Temporary Pattern Element

Open and edit the selected pattern element.

The opened pattern element is only opened temporarily from the search criteria and saved there again with the changes.
If this pattern element is applied from the Pattern Elements tool window, then it is not changed there.
If the pattern element was created from a selection in the pattern, then the change has no effect on the original selection.

If you have edited a temporary pattern element, then in the Pattern Element Selection: appears Edited Temporary Pattern Element

Save the edited pattern element as new pattern element in the Pattern Elements tool window.

Delete the temporary pattern element.
