From a DXF file to a knitting shape

To be able to use in CREATE DESIGN , the shape constructions that were created in another 2D CAD software, you can import DXF files.

  1. The shape construction is available as DXF file
  2. The Start dialog is open

    Click the Importación DXF function.
  1. The Importación DXF dialog box appears.

    Select the DXF file in the Open dialog
  2. The different shape elements of the DXF shape are displayed in the Piezas de tisaje tool window.

Reduction of curve points during the DXF import

    Select all shape elements in the Piezas de tisaje tool window.

    Define the intensity of the reduction in the toolbar under Reducción de puntos.

    Confirm your selection clicking on Reducir puntos.

    Click on Nuevo proyecto de corte de líneas orNuevo proyecto de corte de dimensiones , to convert the DXF shape to a project.
  1. The lined shape or dimensioned shape project is opened and displays your shape with reduced curve points.

¡NOTA! Under the Layer tool window you can deactivate point reduction as well as layers so that internal elements are not transferred to a lined or dimensioned shape.
