Create horizontal and or vertical control dimensioning

The control dimensioning serves for controlling or measuring heights and / or widths in stitches and centimeters / inches.

: The settings in centimeters or inches depend on the preset stitch density.

Defining and Allocating Stitch Density:

  1. A basic shape is created with all the desired shape elements.
  2. The Coupes tab is displayed.

    Select the shape.
  1. Lined shape (basic shape) is graphically displayed in the New shape xx [size x] document window as rectangle.

    Click the Densité des mailles button under Paramètre in the Élaboration de la coupe ribbon.
  1. The Stitch Density tool window appears.

: The STOLL default table will always be used for a new pattern project by default. This table applies to all sizes and shapes.

Save the self-defined stitch density table of the active Pattern Project as *.sdtpl file.

    Change the existing entry in the table.

    Allocate values to an entry labeled Libre.
    - or -
    Add a new entry to the table.

    In the tool window Éléments de tricotage select the tab Coupes.

    Select the desired shape.

    Select Caractéristiques in the context menu.

: The allocation of a stitch density can be different for every shape.

Insert horizontal or vertical control dimensioning:

  1. A basic shape is created with all the desired shape elements.
  2. Desired stitch density is allocated to the basic shape.

    Position the cursor on a shape line point (starting point).

    Open the context menu with RMB ->Ajouter une cote de contrôle.

    Select Ajouter une cote de contrôle verticale .

    Position the cursor on the shape line point (endpoint).

    Confirm with .LMB.
  1. The horizontal / vertical control dimensioning is displayed in the document window in the status bar with the active button.
