Creating and comparing colorways

You can easily create colorways, also known as colorways, via the Combinaisons des couleurs tool.

Creating colorways:

  1. A design project is open.

    Open the Combinaisons des couleurs tool window.
  1. The Combinaisons des couleurs tool window appears.
    Initially, you will only see the preview of the current colors of your pattern.

    Define different colored yarns for the yarn scheme, which are to be combined automatically by the shuffle mode.
    Open the Explorateur de fil and drag the desired colored yarns in the Schéma de fil area.


    INDICATION! Save as many colored yarns in the yarn schema as will be used in the pattern to be able to create Shuffle Modes.
  2. In the Attributions aléatoires area appear all colorways that are possible.

    You can establish additional properties for the Shuffle Mode:
    Utilisable comme couleur de base :
    The respective colored yarn is also used as basic color.
    Utilisable comme couleur complémentaire :
    The respective colored yarn is simultaneously also used as contrast color as well.
  1. In the Attributions aléatoires there are also mentioned different suggestions for colorways.

Apply, rate and compare different colorways:

    Click on Accepterto apply a Shuffle Mode as colorway.
  1. This colorway is listed under Combinaisons des couleurs.

    Click on 1-5 stars to rate the applied colorways.

    Click on Comparer... to compare all the selected colorways with each other.
  2. The Comparer les positions de couleurs dialog appears with an overview over the colorways.

If you prefer one colorway and you want to export it:
Assign the corresponding yarns to the fabric preview.
Use the export function of the fabric preview.
