Disposition des fenêtres de document Section

The tool window and document window have to be differentiated clearly for the correct application and for the better understanding.

Tool windows are displayed in the Accueil tab, Fenêtre Outils group. They are available to edit the document windows and are placed at the outer edge of the document windows.

Document windows are placed in the middle of the user interface when opening.
The different views of a pattern are opened as a document window.
Lined and dimensioned shape, but also knitting elements and pattern elements are represented as document windows. They are opened in the middle area and can be edited with the help of the tool window.

No tool windows can be arranged in the Disposition des fenêtres de document section.
The tool windows are arranged in the Fichier tab -> Options dialog box -> En général section -> Disposition de la fenêtre Outils.

Select the layout for every document window.
There are three options each for selection:

Onglet principal

The document is represented left-aligned on the available area.
If no documents can be found in the right tab, then the main tab extends to the entire width.

Onglet droit

The document is represented on the right of the main tab.

Flottant

The document is represented floating over all other documents and tool windows.

Resets the settings of the document windows to the default setting.
