How to Invert a Dimensioning

The Flip Dimensioning function is only available, if no other dimensioning sets one of the points fix.

  1. The dimensioned shape is opened in the Dimensioning View .
  2. The startpoint of the shoulder and the point of sleeve departure are dimensioned vertically to each other.
    The vertical position of the shape points to each other is upside-down.
    Error state: Crossing shape lines!

    Open the context menu for the desired dimensioning.

    Select Flip DimensioningInvert Dimensioning.
  1. The startpoint of the shoulder is positioned above the point of sleeve departure.

You can invert a horizontal dimensioning the same way.
