Enter a name for the yarn.

Enter the yarn thickness and the corresponding unit of measure.

The following specifications serve the visual presentation of the yarn in the fabric view:

Volta

Enter the twist and the direction of the twist (S or Z).

The larger the value the stronger is the yarn twisted.
Maximum: 200

Select the stitch geometry between Version 1 and Version 2.

  • Version 1:
    • Activate Geometria de malhas uniforme .
    • - or -
    • Specify the specific stitch geometry at the needle loop, needle legs and transition, both inside and outside.
  • Version 2:
    • Geometria de malhas uniforme is active automatically.
    • Specify the core geometry.

The stitch geometry determines the yarn thickness.
This value affects the entire stitch uniformly.
Maximum: 300

  • If Geometria de malhas uniforme is switched off, then the yarn thickness can be defined differently for the different areas of the stitch.
  • But if the Geometria de malhas em % value is modified after, then all areas are adapted to this value.

The Geometria de malhas em % value affects the entire stitch uniformly.

Only available with Geometria de malhas Version 1.

Geometria do núcleo em %

The core geometry does not determine the yarn thickness, but the route of the yarn in the stitch.

  • With 0%, the yarns of the stitches run overlapping.
  • With 100% (maximum value), they run side by side.

Disposição dos fios

Specify the arrangement of the threads by Manual or Automático:

  • Manual
    You can move and position the presentation of the yarns in Secção de fio as desired.
  • Automático
    The yarns are displayed evenly side by side.
    The selection between Regular and sucessivamente is offered.
    • Regular
      The individual threads of the yarns are displayed alternately.
    • sucessivamente
      The individual threads of the yarns are displayed connected.

A difference between Regular or sucessivamente is only recognizable if the individual yarns are multithreaded.
