Prepare the Color Sequence

Create a new row with two sub-rows in the Knitting Ranges table.Create a new row with three sub-rows in the Knitting Ranges table.
One sub-row for each colored stripe.

  1. In the Parameter ribbon select the ShowKnittingKindTableKnitting Modes symbol.
    • The Knitting Ranges tool window appears.
  2. Enter the text Colored Stripes in the Description column of the first row.
  3. Open the context menu for the row number.
  4. Select Add Sub-row.
    • A sub-row appears.
  5. Go to the sub-row.
  6. Enter the text Stripe 1 in the Description column.
  7. Select the 3 yarn color in the ShowYarnTable column.

  8. Select the Stitch v, with Transfer option in the Filling elementFillingElement column.
  9. Activate the check box in the RoundedEvenHightRound to Courses column.
  10. Select the Stripe Height formula in the Measurement column.
    • [Stripe Height] = [Length]/20
      Therefore, the height of this stripe is 1/20 of the body height.
  11. Select the stitch density prepared for the stripe in the StitchDensity column.
  12. Go to the main row.
  13. Open the context menu for the row number.
  14. Select Add Sub-row.
    • A second sub-row appears.
  15. Go to the new sub-row.
  16. Enter the text Stripe 2 in the Description column.
  17. Select the 4 yarn color in the ShowYarnTable column.

  18. Select the Stitch v, with Transfer option in the Filling elementFillingElement column.
  19. Activate the check box in the RoundedEvenHightRound to Courses column.
  20. Select the Stripe Height formula in the Measurement column.
    • [Stripe Height] = [Length]/20
      Therefore, the height of this stripe is 1/20 of the body height.
  21. Select the stitch density prepared for the stripe in the StitchDensity column.
  22. Go to the main row.
  23. Enter 20 as repetition value for the entire stripe area in the Quantity column.

Info Note
Value of repetitions should be as big as it is necessary in order to extend the colored stripe area in both directions even over the longest fabric piece.
