How to Import a Single Shape

    • The finished shape for all fabric pieces, graded to all desired sizes, is saved to a GKS shape file (*.gks).
    • M1plus version ≥ 6.1 is running.
  1. Call up the File / Import / GKS Dimensioned Shape....
    • The Open dialog box appears with Dimensioned Shape (*.gks) pre-selected.
  2. Select the desired shape file (*.gks) and confirm with Open.
    • The Select Single Shape dialog box appears.
  3. Select the desired size and fabric piece from the shape file.

    • SizeList Box White
      Picklist of all sizes within the shape file

    • ShapeList Box White
      Picklist of all fabric pieces within the shape file

  4. Select shape data from the shape file.
  5. CheckBoxOnNeedle Actions
    Apply filling elements and structures for basic pattern, knitting areas, shape edges and markings.
  6. CheckBoxOnColors
    Apply colors for basic pattern, and knitting areas.
  7. CheckBoxOnStitch Lengths
    Apply stitch lengths for basic pattern, knitting areas, shape edges and markings.
    Take care of the transitions with different stitch lengths - doubling required?
  8. Confirm the selection with OK.
  9. The New Pattern dialog box appears.
    Check the presetting.

    • Desired machine?

    • Sufficient size of the pattern?

    • With or without start?

  10. Confirm the dialog box with the Generate Design Pattern button.
    • Pattern with the positioned shape appears.
