GKS_MainApplication

The system requirements of GKS on computers without M1plus are as follows:

  • CPU: Intel Core2Duo or equivalent

  • RAM: 4 GB

  • DVD ROM
    For installation from DVD

  • Windows Operating Systems

    • Windows 7 (32-Bit or 64-Bit)

    • Windows 8 / 8.1 (32-Bit or 64-Bit)

    • Recommendation: Windows 7 64-bit

    • No virtual machine!
Avoid the simultaneous use with other programs to be able to fully use all the capacity of the GKS on your computer.

GKS is designed to work together with the Stoll Pattern SoftwareM1plus.

Therefore, the extensive requirements of the M1plus apply to the joint operation.

System Requirements of the M1plus

  • CPU: Intel Core2Duo or equivalent

  • Hard Disk: 120 GB SATA

  • RAM: 2 GB (recommended 4 GB)

  • DVD ROM

  • Graphic Board / Monitor: 1400 x 1050
    Recommendation: Dual Head with 2 x 1600 x 1200

  • Serial interface for KMC adapter, if necessary

  • 3,5“ Floppy Disk, if necessary

  • Windows Operating Systems

    • Windows 7 (32-Bit or 64-Bit)

    • Windows 8 / 8.1 (32-Bit or 64-Bit)

    • Windows 10 (32-Bit or 64-Bit)

    • No virtual machine!

    • Windows XP is no longer supported from M1plus 5.9 on

For the installation of Windows 8 (32 or 64 bit) an internet connection is necessary.
Recommended for extensive patterns
Recommended RAM for large patterns with extensive processing:
