- Quick-Info
- By dragging a selection, the size of the selection is shown at the cursor.

- Jf you selected several rows for the Insert... function of row selection, you got different results by
Duplicate or
Drawing Attributes.

- With it, you can duplicate a colored pattern and keep its motif.
Fully Fashion
- Create New Shape from Raster-Shape / Add Missing Shape Symbols...
- These two functions of the context menu of the Design View are no longer available if the pattern is in 1x1 Technique.
- Switch to the All Needles knitting technique in advance.

- You can switch the knitting technique by the Pattern Properties dialog box.
Open the dialog box with Properties in the context menu of the pattern in the Patterns tool window. - Create Lined Shape from Image
- In a Dimensioned Shape, you can already load a background image and generate a new fabric piece based on it in the Dimensioned Shape.
Now, in the Lined Shape as well. - Required:
The Lined Shape is not created by the Hand-Knitting (Courses) input format. -
- Image Formats: BMP, PNG or JPG

Border Processing for Block Jacquard
Fading-out Jacquard - It was not yet possible, to work the border of a shape edge of a float or net Jacquard by a specific knitting technique.
The fade-out width of the shape did not take effect on the Jacquard. - You can modify the border by the Fade-out, Jacquard, Float, Net module and by a specified width now.
- You will find the module in the database at:
- Fully Fashion → Fading-out → Jacquard

Pattern with Pending Shape
- The fade-out of the shape is separated:
- for structure / Intarsia
- for Jacquards (float / net)
- You will find the default settings in:
- Options for dimensioned and lined shapes
- Configuration / All Shapes in pattern projects

- You can modify the default settings of each shape line in the Line Properties individually.
- The result is immediately visible as echo on the pattern.

Pattern without Lined Shape
- You can specify the border processing for pattern without shape or manually shaped by the Border Processing for Block Jacquard dialog box.

- Open the dialog box by:

Border Processing for Block Jacquard... of the context menu

Block Jacquard of the Drawing ribbon group.

- You apply the selected knitting technique by the Apply button in the dialog box.

Note:
If you apply a second time with a reduced width, the knitting technique will be adopted to it but the original motif will not be restored. -
- New Modules for Binding-off
- Two new module are available for the binding-off of the neckline.

Module Arrangement (MA):
Color adjustment - If there are colored modules and knitting needle actions within a selection of rows, you get now (exceeding V1.2) the possibility of a color adjustment in the Module Arrangement.
- For it, color segments of needle actions appear in the MA.

BMS: Technical Processing
Up to now, clamping of yarn carriers was done by the S0Y (Move Yarn Carriers to Home Position ) command and could not be specified by the user.
This behavior is changed: - Result in V1.3.3

Configuration setting for clamping.

- Quantity of Rows Until Closing Clamps After the Start edit box in the Comb, Clamping tab
- The value is applied to the Collecting Clamp control column by the technical processing.
Available starting with V1.3.2 :
Fully Fashion
- Editing of pattern with pending shape is optimized.
- The pattern and the lined shape are displaced in individual modes each.
- The
Edit Shape button of the Drawing ribbon group for the previous procedure is eliminated.
- You can get the missing shape symbols added for manually created fully fashion patterns (without lined shape).
- Editing of the lined shape on the pattern
- Control with different buttons enables the alternating editing of lined shape and pattern.
- Buttons and their functions clockwise from top left:
- Edit Lined Shape Layer (Y)
The lined shape can be edited. Therefor, the context menus are switched to lined shape editing. The drawing tools for pattern editing are not available. - Fade-out Exceeding Modules
Modules cut-into by the width of fading-out will be removed or kept. - Toggle Lined Shape Layer
The lined shape data (outside shape, fading-out, narrowing, widening) will be toggled.
Editing the lined shape is even with hidden data possible. - Edit Base Layer
The context menus are switched to pattern editing. - Toggle Pattern Layer
The pattern data of the basic pattern will be toggled.
If the display is hidden and if your are drawing on the pattern, the display will be automatically be enabled. - The button to move the lined shape appears below the control on the pattern.
- Remove Shape from Design Pattern
- The function, up to now available in Shapes tool window only, is now part of the context menu of the pattern.
- Add Missing Shape Symbols
- The function is available in the context menu of the pattern.
- The function is not available if a lined shape is positioned on the pattern.
- The function opens the Add Missing Shape Symbols dialog box.
- The function works within a selection of the pattern or within the entire pattern.
Selection
- Two possibilities:
Delete Shape Symbols in Search Area.
Add missing shape symbols. Existing shape symbols will be kept.Delete Shape Symbols in Search Area.
Deletes existing shape symbols at first and creates then all shape symbols according to specification.

Control column Separate Knitting from Following Transferring for BMS
- If the S1 system has to knit and the S2 has to transfer, you can shift the transferring to the following carriage stroke by the Separate Knitting from Transferring entry.
Find and Replace / Exchange

Start with Start, Repeating and Final Areal
- Up to now:
- No possibility to set the occupancy of the last needle by the start as the module is cut according to the pattern width.
- Example:
With an even numbered pattern width and a 1x1 start, the left border starts by a jersey stitch and the right border ends by a reverse stitch. - New:
- By the extension in the module, you can get a jersey stitch at the left and right of the pattern.
- Module Structure
- As known from technical modules, the starts can contain the following rows:
Searching row
Repeating row
Attribute row
- The attribute row is displayed to keep it similar to technical modules dispite it has no meaning and is kept empty.
- The module is divided in to the following areas (see picture):
Repetition (columns 2 – 5)
Final areas of different widths (column 6, 7+8, 10 – 12 and 13 – 16)
Excess width at Shape Edge (column 9 and 17). - The start area (not shown in picture) would be at the left of the repetition area.
Neighboring end areas are separated by hatching.
Excess width is required if the width of the end area is a multiple of the width cycle of the start. - Usage within the pattern
- You will find examples of starts in the new Starts / Start Area and Final Area directory of the Knit Explorer.
- If you select a start with the new areas, you have to set whether they should be considered when inserted into the pattern:
ActivateWith Start, Repeating and End Columns.
Fully Fashion
New function to create a new lined shape from a fully fashion pattern.
- Create New Shape from Raster-Shape function in the context menu of the design pattern
- The function opens the Create Shape dialog box with the settings of the line properties.
- The created shape appears in the Shapes tool window of the pattern project.
- Note:
- The function is not available if a shape is positioned on the pattern.
- The start currently present in the pattern will be applied to the shape properties.
If desired, remove the start from the pattern before calling up the function.
Replace Start in Pattern... function in the context menu of the design pattern - Markings (marking points and line markings) will not be applied and must be added to the lined shape.
Technical Processing
Clamping and Cutting
Not for BMS!
- Up to now, valid for Knit-in All Yarn Carriers Before the Start function enabled:
- The technical processing applies the Float and Lock module.
- This module contains the command to open all clamps after knitting-in (Y-RALL).
- New, in order to exclude individual yarn carriers from the Y-RALL command:
- Exclude from 'Open Clamp' (Y-RALL( n ))
- Show Yarn Carriers → Yarn Carriers tool window
