Ellipse/Circle

In the tool properties toolbar, you select whether a filled area or only the border is selected for the symbol Ellipse/Circle. In addition, you can select between Ellipse and Circle.

With a circle or an ellipse, only select the border:

  1. The cursor functions are switched off.

    Click the icon from the Drawing tools toolbar.
  1. The selected drawing tool will be shown as a pressed icon.

    Select the not filled option in the tool properties toolbar.

    Click on the starting point of the ellipse or the circle and move the mouse pointer with the mouse button depressed.
  1. As long as the mouse button is pressed, the marking in the Technical View is shown in blue. The position at which the left mouse button is pressed marks the center of the ellipse or the circle.

    Release the mouse button when the desired size of the ellipse or the circle is reached.
  1. The selection is shown in red.

The existing selection is zoomed in if the Ctrl key is pressed during the new selection.
The existing selection is zoomed out if the Ctrl and Alt keys are pressed during the new selection. The selection is zoomed out by the overlapping area.
An additional circle is selected it the keys Ctrl and Shift are pressed during the selection.

If you make a selection in the Technical View without a module being selected, you delete the stitches below the selection with the Ctrl and Shift keys.

The Search and Select function in the Drawing Tools toolbar is used to search and select the currently set cursor functions in different ways.

Should a selection not be at the desired location, move it during selection with the Tab key pressed.
