Protect Selection
This function is used to protect the data of a needle position.
This prohibits modification of their needle action, stitch length and color.
Row-related data (e.g. fabric take-down or carriage speed) cannot be protected.
Define area to be protected:
- 1
- Select needle positions to be protected.
- 2
- Run the function in the menu.
- In the technical view, the protected area is displayed with red Xs for each needle position. For this purpose, the function has to be activated. In addition, an X in a circle appears at these positions at the cursor in symbol, fabric and technical views.
The protected needle positions are not saved to the pattern and are not in effect when the pattern is opened again.

The function in the menu is used to cancel the protection of the protected needle positions.
The function in the menu is used to cancel the protection within the selected area.
