Display Protection

This function displays and hides protected areas.

Display the protected areas:

  1. Protected areas are present in the pattern.
    1
    Run the Protection / Display Protection function in the Selections menu.
  1. In the technical view, the protected area is displayed with red Xs for each needle position. In addition, an X in a circle appears at these positions at the cursor in symbol, fabric and technical views.

The activated function is indicated with a check in front of the function name.
Calling up the function again disables it.

Protected areas can also be located in the shape view and in the Jacquard Editor.
