Rotate selection
This function is used to rotate the selected area.
Rotate the selection around the center:
- The pattern state before expanding is active.
- The Symbol or the Fabric View is active.
- An area must be selected.

- Activate the symbol
in the Drawing tools toolbar.
- A rectangular frame with graspers becomes visible around the selection.
The activated function is shown by the active symbol

In the Tool Properties toolbar, you select the desired option:

- Enter degree value
- Rotate the selection graphically and read the degrees here.
- Change the degree value by the up and down arrows.
Changing the degree value by steps of 15°.- Run button
Entering the rotated selection at the current position in to the pattern.
While rotating, the number of degrees is displayed in the status line.

- Click on a grasper with the right mouse button and move the mouse pointer in the desired direction with the mouse button pressed.

- Release the mouse button when the desired rotation is achieved.
- A new, rotated selection is visible. The original selection has been removed.
The following keys change the behavior:
Press the respective key while the left mouse button is pressed.

Tab
The selection will be lifted-off and moved, but not rotated. -
Ctrl
The new (scaled) selection is added to the original selection. -
Esc
Scaling is canceled and the original state is restored.
