ShapeSizer (k&w)

With the ShapeSizer you generate k&w or fully fashion shapes in different sizes.

When editing the shapes, no lines or elements may be deleted or added afterward, as otherwise the values for the shape heights can no longer be correctly assigned when regenerating the shape with the ShapeSizer.

The program is opened by the ShapeSizer... function in the Shape menu.

Make the necessary settings on the following pages of the ShapeSizers:

File selection

Select Fully Fashion shapes or k&w shapes.

Select a standard ShapeSizer file for cardigans, pullovers, waistcoats or others.
: Open the Measure units and stitch density page by double click on an icon.

Load ShapeSizer file (*.shz).

Measure units and stitch density

Set the measure unit and the stitch density.
: You can specify default values in the stitch density table.

Measure Table

Enter measures in the measure table.
: You can enter up to 11 sizes in the table. You can adopt (copy) the individual values from the default values or from previously set values or derive (graduate) them by entering a factor.
The sizes are shown in a graphic.

Steps; Stitch Specifications

Make further settings and generate the shape.
: The further settings are varying according to the ShapeSizer file.
You can open and edit the shapes (*.shp) individually in the Shape Editor after having generated them.
The k&w Arrangements are determined when finishing.
You can open the k&w shape and position it on the basic pattern.

Delete values...

Delete values in the measure table.

Save As...

Save the ShapeSizer file (*.shz) with all its settings.

The dialog box can be moved. To do this, position the cursor in the dialog box and hold down the center mouse button. The dialog box is moved with the movement of the mouse.
