Copy
This function is used to copy any desired area of the pattern to the clipboard.
I. Switch the copy function from default to with all empty rows:

next to the icon
in the Default toolbar. - 2
- Click on the function in the list.
- The copy function is switched from to and the icon changes to
.
II. Copy a selection to the clipboard:
- An area in the pattern must be selected.

- Call up the function in the menu.

- Select the function in the context menu of the view.

- Click the
icon in the Default toolbar. - 4
- Press the key combination Ctrl + C.
- The content of the selected area will be copied to the clipboard.
With the following functions you can enter the clipboard into the pattern.
- With a drawing function
- With the functions and in the menu.
- With Ctrl+V
With the / / function, you save the copied selection as local pattern element.
You specify whether or not any empty rows present in the area to be copied and not inserted by the user are also to be copied. The copying of these empty rows is primarily used if pattern elements that contain these kind of rows, shall be positioned next to each other after the Technical Processing. In the default setting these rows are not also copied.
III. Also copy empty rows located in the selected area which have not been inserted by the user:

- Copy the area as described above.
