Technical Row Data

The technical row data are pattern data that do not absolutely have to be entered by the user. Technical Processing checks the pattern data for completeness and automatically adds missing data.
On the other hand, this data can be expanded or modified after Technical Processing. When changing the technical row data following Technical Processing, it is not mandatory that Technical Processing be repeated.

The dialog box is called-up with the Pattern Parameters / Technical Row Data menu.

Select the function for the tab which is to be displayed when the dialog box is opened.

The dialog box is divided into following tabs:

You can also allocate technical row data to a module. The technical row data from the module are applied in the pattern by Technical Processing.

In the Technical view, you can open a certain tab in the dialog box with the Ctrl+F9 function key. This is dependent on the cursor position.

If the yarn carrier fields are shown in the yarn field view, then the Knitting sequence tab can be opened with the Ctrl+F9 function key in the control columns.

The dialog box is divided into a display window within the different tabs and a setting area. The setting area can be displayed and hidden with the Settings button.

: In this area, you can make changes to the technical row data.

OK

Apply the modifications. The dialog box is closed.

Cancel

Close dialog box without changing technical row data.

Apply

Apply the modifications. The button is first available after the technical row data has been changed. The dialog box remains open.
: The data from the sections in the checkbox are only applied, if the checkbox of the respective section is activated.

Default

Enter default values in the setting area for the selected technical rows on the selected tab.
These are values that are entered by Technical Processing. These can then be assigned to the selected rows in the display window with the Apply button.
: This button is located in the setting area of the dialog box. The Function calls tab does not have this button.

Select the following entries in the Technical row data dialog box:

This technical rows selected in the pattern are highlighted in blue in the display window of the respective tab. In contrast, a selection on the tab also results in a selection in the pattern.

Technical rows must be selected for the yarn carriers to be displayed in the display window of the setting area.

I. Select an entry:

    Click on the entry with the left mouse button.

II. Select contiguous entries:

    Select first entry of desired area.
    2
    Select the last entry of the desired area with the Shift key pressed.

III. Select non-contiguous entries:

    1
    Select the first entry.
    2
    Select another entry with the Ctrl key pressed.

As many entries as desired can be selected with the Ctrl key pressed.

In the Knitting sequence tab it is only possible to select all technical rows of a knitting sequence together.
