Step 3: Structure/Intarsia

In the Step 3: Structure/Intarsia dialog box of the picture import, make the following settings:

Display field

Display current picture.
Tip: Click directly on the color in the picture. The selection is expanded with each clicked color. The selection is canceled when you click on an empty area in the Target colors table.

Zoom section

 

Original size

Reset size setting to original size.

Resize

Zoom picture to window size.

x : y

Enlarge or reduce the motif by the corresponding factor.

Display field
Target colors

Display of the color and color number of the picture.
The target colors can be selected. Read the information on these further on.
Tip: Click on a color in the Target colors column with the left mouse button to select target colors. In conjunction with the Ctrl or Shift key of the keyboard, additional colors for the selection can be added or removed, or you can select entire groups.

Module name

This module is filled with the target color. The number of the jacquard area is entered in the column on the left next to the name.
The module presetting comes from the default settings or the modules saved on the picture are displayed.
: With Drag & Drop you can drag an appropriate module from the Modules toolbar or the Module Explorer onto the list field. Drag & Drop is not possible for pattern-local modules or modules located in the module group Pattern elements, in the Module bar or in the Module explorer. An error message appears.
Areas to which you do not allocate the basic pattern and gaps of allocated modules appear transparent when inserting the pattern element.

Yarn

The target color is overwritten with this yarn color in the pattern. The yarn color can be changed by directly entering the color index value or with the color palette shown on the right.

Color palette

Color palette for various color groups (selection with the list field) for changing the yarn color in the Yarn column.
: Select the colors in the Target colors column and then click on the color in the color palette with the left mouse button.
The color palettes are identical to those in the Pattern Colors toolbar.

Modules section
Allocate selected target color modules.

The Basic pattern dialog box is opened. A module selected in it is allocated to the selected target colors when the dialog box is closed.

The Module explorer is opened.
The window may be located under your active window, and is therefore not visible. Move the window to the side to see the Module Explorer.

Apply standard

The default values are entered in the Module name and Yarn columns. The basic pattern module set in the Default settings dialog box is used as a module; the yarn color is identical to the target color.
