Yarn field table

All the yarn fields of a pattern are listed in the yarn field table of the Yarn field view dialog box.
The parameters in the table determine the technical processing. Therefore it is not possible to change the parameters in the pattern state after the technical processing. Then the table cells are highlighted in gray.

The selection of a yarn field has the following effects:

Yarn fields which are not yet present in the Yarn Field View are shown in the table as well. This is the case with the:
a.) Use of the comb.
With a pattern for which the comb is used, the comb thread (208) is first inserted by technical processing. The yarn field is already displayed before technical processing.
b.) Use of a Sintral function.
Example: Use of the FF-Trans Sintral function at a shape pattern without the use of a comb. The yarns protection thread 1 (205) and protection thread 2 (206) that are displayed in the table, are within the parameters of this Sintral function. These are used in the knitting program (Sintral) for the transition from one piece to the next.
If no yarn number is specified, the yarn number 256 will be used. This means that this yarn carrier cannot be used in another area of the pattern, because there is no corresponding color number in the Pattern Colors toolbar.
