Well known companies are specialized in this field of computer engineering. For example the following manufacturers present their tools and strategies, among others such as online scanners which you can activate via the home pages of the manufacturers:

Exclude M1.exe and Setup_M1plus.exe from virus scanning:

If your computer virus scanner detects suspicious program parts of the M1plus you have to exclude the following files from the scan:

Refer to the help of your computer virus scanner.

In case that problems arise when installing M1plus we recommend to deactivate the computer virus scanner previous to the M1plus installation and to activate it again afterwards.

How to setup the automatic update:

Microsoft provides service packs and hotfixes for security reasons for the MS Windows operating systems.
If you have internet access on your pattern workstation you should use the automatic Microsoft update service.

You can start the updates individually in the Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Call up the Tools/Windows Updates menu.

If the Automatic Updates function is not yet available you can install the updates via the Microsoft Internet Explorer at first.
