Feeding with Float and Lock

Problem presentation:

Some are knitting with the protection yarn from the comb thread to the start.
They knit the protection rows at the pattern end with protection yarn as well.
In some cases, depending on the yarn, the thread might be caught into the gap between the rollers and wrapped around the take down.

Solution:

This will not happen if you bring the yarn carrier in the clamp before the ribs and bring it into the pattern again for the protection rows.

Use the Float in with locking modules to ensure a secure yarn insertion:

Lock the draw thread of the protection rows with settings in Configuration / Knitting Zones / Protection Rows.
Activate Use module color or Use yarn color for this purpose.
