Modules for the Needle Hook Gauge 4L

Starts based on 1x1 Cast-off Technique are available in order to improve the stitch look of the start.
You will find these starts under:

Depending on the width cycle of the start it may occur that the last stitch starts on an empty needle.
Avoid this by drawing in a module which you will find in the container module of the start.
With it, follow the numbers (substitute symbols in the loose final row of the starts).
Insert the END module congruently to the numbers.

An Example

Overview of the pattern
The drop stitch may result at the right shape edge or fabric selvedge

  • Read the substitute symbol of the stitch at the right shape edge or fabric selvedge.
    Here 2

The net stitch newly picked-up at last (2) may drop out of the raising needle when knitting the tubular row from the right to the left. For this case, you will find the END module with the code number 2 in the container module of the start.

: There is nothing to do if there is no END module with a code number matching the substitute symbol.

  • Place the cursor on the start of the pattern.
  • Call up the Display Module in the Module Explorer of Pattern function in the context menu and open the container.
  • Pick the matching END module in the container with F5.
    Here 2x1_END 2

Matching module with substitute symbols in the last row.

  • Insert the module with the end number 2 congruently on number 2 within the pattern.

The END module prevents a drop stitch and this area will be better taken down.

: Check this situation again after modifying the fabric width, the shape or the start.
