Applying shape attributes from an existing shape

You can apply the shape attributes from an existing from (or shape pattern) to another shape (or shaped pattern). These must be loaded simultaneously.

Condition:

  1. Both shapes (or shape patterns) must be loaded.
  2. Both shapes (or shaped patterns) must have the same shape edges regarding the color and the number.

    Procedure:

    Create or load shapes (or shape patterns).

    Adjust the shape edges of the new shape if necessary.

    Activate the new shape (or shaped pattern).

    In the Shape menu select the Apply shape attributes from another shape... dialog.
  1. The Apply shape attributes from another shape dialog opens.

The shape in the display field Data target was defined activating the shape (or shape pattern).

    Select a shape (or shaped pattern) via the Data source list box.

    Confirm the entry with Run.
  1. The shape attributes of the source shape (Data source) was applied to the target shape (Data target).
