CMS 502 HP [2] with reduced number of comb hooks
Together with the component type 2, the Stoll CMS 502 receives a comb with reduced number of comb hooks.
The machines are created in the :
- CMS 502 HP 5“ [2]
- CMS 502 HP 6“ [2]
Procedure for the use of the comb thread module

- Generate new pattern.
- 2
- Select the CMS 502 HP 5“ [2] or the CMS 502 HP 6“ [2] machine.

- Under section activate the
checkbox.
For creating the start the two options

are available.

- Make further settings for the start.
- 2
- Under the section of the tab activate the
checkbox.
- After Technical Processing:
- 1. Last comb hook at the right selvedge.
- 2. Positioning the left or right fabric selvedge. Shifting by one or two needles (see table below).
- 3. Widening of the right start width by one comb hook. The distance of the positioning depends on the machine gauge (see table below). The tuck loops added are casted-off late.
- 4. Widening of the right start width and subsequent cast-off.
