devoré knit border processing

The function with border correction enables you to perform a correction of the shape edges for devoré knit/plush patterns. For this purpose, under the MC Attributes dialog box, System functions tab activate the devoré knit/plush active check box and the with border correction check box.

A higher running reliability is achieved due to the border correction:

• Binding thread is knitted with all needles.
• Motif thread is knitted only with every second needle. Thereby, when knitting opposite to the carriage direction only the outer selvedge stitch is knitted.
• Do not use the border correction for plush pattern with 1x1 technique
• Example:
  
• The correction in the technical rows 81 and 95 do not match the needle selection of the previous row (red).
• In technical row 88, the specified correction matches the previous needle selection.
