Adjustments for new pattern rows

In the dialog box Insert rows <pattern name>, you make the following adjustments for the active pattern:

Empty rows

Empty rows are inserted either as individual pattern rows or as technical rows that are grouped to the selected row. Select whether pattern rows or technical rows are inserted with the Pattern rows and Technical rows option fields from the bottom section. If an empty row is inserted in the Pattern Row Presentation as a technical row, then it cannot be seen in this presentation. You must switch over to the Technical Row Presentation.
: You cannot insert empty rows within a jacquard. Here the needle actions or modules of the selected row are copied into the inserted row.

Modules

If you have selected this option field, you can position a module from the Module Bar or the Module Explorer in the related field within the dialog box with Drag & Drop. This module is inserted in the pattern over the entire width. In the process, the settings in the Number input field and in the Arrow up and Arrow down option fields are taken into account.

Selection

The selected rows are inserted in the pattern taking the settings in the Number input field and the Arrow up and Arrow down options fields into account.
: This option field is only available when one or more rows are selected in the pattern. The inserted rows are inserted before or after the selected rows.

Input field
Quantity

Insert the number of empty rows, vertical repetitions of the selected module or selected technical rows in the pattern, depending on the selected option field. The default value is 1.

Adopt control columns of the selected rows

When inserting all the data of the control columns of the selection will be applied.
Stitch lengths will be applied even if Adopt stitch length is switched off in Module Data toolbar.
Rows with cycle expand the existing cycle if the inserted cycle borders the existing one.
Yarn Carrier Settings of the control column will not be applied

Pattern rows

The specified number of empty rows are inserted as pattern rows.

Input field
From

Pattern row from which the empty rows or the selected module is/are to be inserted. If one single row was selected before opening the dialog box, then the row number will be applied to the dialog box.
This input field is only available with the Pattern rows option field selected and when inserting modules.

Technical rows

The specified number of empty rows are inserted as technical rows. If the Modules option field or Selection is selected, then the Pattern rows and Technical rows option fields are not available.

Input field
From

Determine technical row from which the empty rows are to be inserted. This input field is only available when the Technical rows option field is selected.

The empty rows, modules or selected rows are inserted above the row specified in the From technical row/pattern row input field.

The empty rows, modules or selected rows are inserted below the row specified in the From technical row/pattern row input field. Inserted knitting rows are grouped to the selected technical row or to the technical row specified in the From technical row entry field.
