Properties of Jacquard
In this section you can convert a jacquard into another jacquard type and/or generate a new jacquard.
There is a display field similar to an explorer with the Jacquard module group and its sub-groups in which you can select a jacquard generators or jacquard modules. The modules are in the module explorer in the 2 color, 3 color etc. sub group. These sub groups are not displayed within the Jacquards dialog box. Instead, these modules of this subgroup are offered for selection that have a generally usable value from the Properties of <module group name> dialog box that matches the number of colors of the jacquard (selected area). If there is no such module, you can not open the subgroup.
If several jacquards with a different number of colors is selected, the following must be observed:
- A Jacquard Generator is always available and can be applied to all selected jacquards.
- A jacquard module can only be selected when there is a jacquard module for each jacquard with a different number of colors and these jacquard modules all have the same name.
When generating a new jacquard, you can generate the jacquard in 1x1-technical with the checkbox activated. In this case the jacquard only works on every second needle.
In addition, the stitch ratio of the front to the back and the maximum float length are visible in this section. These parameters can be set in the Properties of: <module-name> dialog box. The picture assigned in the tab of the Properties of: <module-name> dialog box will be displayed as well.
