Table of the edges/markings

The edges or markings of a shape will be displayed in a table with number and color.
The columns of the table:

Column

Meaning

No.

Buttons with consecutive numbering of the shape edges/markings. The corresponding shape edge/marking is selected by clicking on the button. The number corresponds to the number of the shape edge/marking in the Symbol View (shape).

Color

Color of the shape edge/marking. This matches the color in the Symbol View (shape). The corresponding shape edge/marking is also selected by clicking on the color.

Group

Display and selection of a shape attribute group for the respective shape edge/marking. By selecting another shape attribute group, the properties of this group are allocated to the selected shape edge/marking. A new group can also be created.

Function

Button showing the function of a shape edge/marking. The corresponding shape edge/marking is selected by clicking on the button.

Display of the shape part number
: Only for edges

The existing shape edges/markings are numbered consecutively.
The number corresponds to the number of the shape edge/marking in the Symbol View (shape).
Click on the number of this column to select a shape edge or marking. This makes the properties of the shape edge or marking available in the corresponding tabs.

Via table, you chose between all the shape parts or a specific shape part for displaying the edges.

In the context menu of the table you run the following functions:

Function

Meaning

Change Color

Change the identification color of the edge or marking.
The Colors dialog box appears.

Delete shape edges not used

Delete all the shape edges that are not used in the pattern or shape part from the table.

Delete shape markings not used

Delete all the shape markings that are not used in the pattern or shape part from the table.

Change the width of the columns as desired:

    Move the cursor onto the separating line of the columns within the header.

    Move the mouse pointer with the left mouse button hold to the left or right until the column has the desired width.

    Release the mouse button.

Delete shape edges not used:

    Move the cursor onto the table.
    2
    Call up the context menu with the right mouse button.
    3
    Run the Delete shape edges not used function.
  1. Only the edges used in the pattern or shape part are still displayed in the table.
