Control Views (Expanding)

With the , or functions of the Control Views toolbar you can generate a Control View of the visible detail , of the selected rows or of the entire pattern .
With it you can check the result of expanding in advance.

Functions within the Control View:

• Copy
• Search and measure
• Generate a picture

Call-up the the Cancel write protection temporarily function in the context menu in order to use these functions.

You can specify the kind of the Control View in the Load tab of the Tools dialog box:

• Symbol View
• Fabric View
• Technical View
• Open the Control Views at once when opening the pattern

Special features:

• Green title bar
  
  The current pattern is displayed in the control view.
• Red title bar
  
  The pattern was modified. The control view is no longer up-to date.
  Generate the control view again.
• Read-only state of the Control View
  The icons of the toolbar are not active.
• The write protection of the Control View canceled:
  The icons of the toolbar get active again.
• With E on the keyboard you generate the most recent used control view.
• Holding down the Ctrl key while clicking on the desired control view you generate it and position it at the front.
• Holding down the Ctrl and E key you generate the most recent used control view and position it at the front.
